What we collect

Only what you fill in on a booking or venue enquiry: your name, your email, your phone number and organisation if you give them, the event details you enter - dates, times, guest numbers, the venue and how to get to it, the package, any dietary notes - how you heard about us, and your message. If you use the estimate calculator, the figures it worked out are sent with your enquiry so we can see what you were shown.

To keep the forms from being abused we count how many enquiries arrive in an hour from the same place. That count is kept as a scrambled fingerprint rather than your email address or your internet address - enough to spot the same sender twice, not enough to work out who you are - and it is deleted within a couple of hours.

Why, and for how long

To answer your enquiry and, if it turns into a booking, to arrange it. That is the whole list. We do not use it for marketing and we do not add you to a mailing list.

Enquiries that never became a booking - still unanswered, or marked lost - are deleted automatically after 24 months. Enquiries that became a real conversation, or turned into a booked event, are kept as business records of that work.

When an enquiry is deleted automatically, a copy is held in our internal log for 12 months so we can answer what happened to it. If you ask us to delete your details, that copy is not kept: the record goes, and the log records only that it went, not what was in it.

Who else handles it

Five, each doing one job. We use each of them for that job and nothing else: none of them is used for marketing, and your details are never sold or shared for advertising.

• Supabase - stores the enquiry. Hosted in London.
• Brevo - sends the emails: your confirmation, and our copy.
• Google Workspace - our email is hosted with Google, so the copy that reaches us arrives and stays in that mailbox, the same as any other email you might send us.
• Cloudflare - serves these pages to your browser and keeps the usual record of requests, including the internet address they came from. Your enquiry does not pass through it: the form sends it straight to the database.
• Our web developer - who built and looks after this website, and holds administrative access to the system the enquiries sit in.

Nobody outside that list sees it.

Your rights

Ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it - email hello@boellaco.com and it is done. You do not have to give a reason. If you think we have got it wrong you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies and tracking

None. This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and carries no advertising or tracking pixels. There is nothing to consent to, which is why you were not asked.

The typefaces are served from this website rather than from Google, so simply reading these pages does not tell anyone else that you were here.
